Tasty, quick and hassle-free
Bought this as a tester before relying on eating it out camping (nothing worse than climbing a Munro or two and coming back to a terrible meal!). Went for a long walk with the dog and heated it up using a JetBoil Flash. The whole experience was hassle free - just chucked in some water (filled to about halfway, evened out the contents of the food in the bag and rolled to fit in the JetBoil and closed the lid (hole in plastic allows for steam /pressure to escape). Brought to a rolling boil and left in this for around 6 minutes, removed and then left for a minute before opening. The contents were perfectly hot and evenly cooked and the taste was a real surprise coming from a boil in a bag. Myself and my partner loved it and the dog was wanting to devour it too. No hassle, quick and tasty and will definitely be packed for our next hill walk!

Good trekking meal
Been a fan of Wayfayrer foods for a longtime. Easy to cook and taste great.I use them on multi day treks and there’s nothing better than an easy to cook warm meal at the end of a long days trek in the mountains.Just cook in the bag in hot water on your camping stove for 5 mins. You can even use the water for a brew once meal is cooked.Essential part of my kit when multi day camping in the mountains.

Good for purpose but not so tasty
Bought for my son's DofE.This is his view:They all taste the same (he had four different ones) except for the chilli concarne.Took too long to heat up (15 minutes and still not hot in the middle) maybe down to his cooking ability?He said that they were quite filling though and easy to carry.

Perfect for DofE
Bought one of these for my 14 year old son's Bronze D of E practice expedition.He opted to pout the contents into a saucepan to heat through and says that he loved it, though he thinks the portion size was a little small.These can also be heated as a boil-in-the-bag.He wants more of these for his future expeditions.

Pretty tasty 😋
Pretty surprised at how tasty this was. Never tried these type of meals before so was canny impressed. I'm pretty picky with a bolgognese but enjoyed it when heated up. A bit extra salt and pepper for my personal preference but will buy again. Just right amount so not stuffed but would require desert afterwards
