As noted in the product description, this shower curtain is a larger than 72"x72" when you first receive it to accommodate for shrinking when washed. There were several inches of fabric that pooled on the floor after hanging the shower curtain, but it shrunk up to a "normal" length after the first wash. Since that wash, however, it hasn't shrunk beyond the normal length of a shower curtain.The extra cost for this certified organic cotton product is worth the expense for the quality. It's good for the environment. It's good for anyone with allergies. There is some mildew staining that has appeared over time, but I've not put the effort into soaking it or determining a way to remove the stains beyond a regular washing. (For me, a "regular washing" is about once a week or so.)

Looks good, thick cloth, generous dimension. NO PLASTIC SMELL. As long as you have a bathroom that dries out quickly this shower curtain is ideal. I've never had a shower curtain that I've enjoyed as much as this one. I feel good every time I see it. Best of all it isn't poisoning me with chemical off-gassing as every single other plastic curtain will. That chemical/plastic stink you smell when you open traditional shower curtains? Hello! Those are VOCs and other chemicals. Do yourself and your family a favor and purchase this shower curtain.

All Organic Very Nice Better than the other cheap ones you always replace. Comes large wash shrinks to size. Should fit all showers. I ring mine out and let it dry on the outside of the tub doesn't drip down and drys fast! No mildew or anything like that and easy to wash!

The description wasn't wrong that this curtain is cut long. I haven't washed or even got it wet yet, so I haven't trimmed or hemmed it, but it is long. I am glad for that!Wonderful to have a natural option for our showers!

This is an excellent shower curtain. It wicks away moisture and drys out quickly and it's 100% cotton. Who knew it could really be this simple, practical and naturally beautiful.

I returned it. It was way too expensive.

I've had mine for about a month; bought it after reading in multiple fasting/cleansing books how harmful vinyl in regular shower curtains is for our bodies. No liner necessary! The other reviews are correct - the curtain is a bit longer and wider when it arrives to accommodate shrinkage. I just washed mine per instructions (wash warm, dry low) and I didn't notice any shrinkage. Fits my old shower hooks perfectly. The only thing that took a bit of getting used to was that the fabric gets wet during shower - doesn't leak or anything, and it dries very quickly after shower. I have noticed less mildew buildup than with my old vinyl curtain. Would definitely recommend! Made in USA is a great feature, too. I also bought LifeKind's bath mat and the shower curtain matches beautifully.
