Save Those Fingers
My nephew loves to experiment in the kitchen, so he's constantly chopping up something. I got this for him and he loves it. He said he was nicking his nails when he chopped at times, but this has helped with the problem, and it is easy to hold as you chop away.

Finger Guard - thought it would be "heavier"
Disappointed in the quality of the item...bends in the back a little too easy - very cheaply made.

Not meant for small female fingers
The ring in the back is huge for female fingers. I gave it a good try and ended up removing and chopping my veggies without. It got in the way trying to hold onto it, was much easier to cut up the veggies without. Was a waste of money for me. Not stable.

Saves Fingers!
My wife isn't a chef, she cooks great, but these little things were a life saver. Protects your fingers when slicing food, which is a god send for her. It comes with two of them, the ring that attaches to your finger is a little flimsy but handle with care and I'm sure they will hold up well. We love ours, and it's saved the wife's fingers a lot of cuts.

YES PLEASE!!
So I am for ever slicing the edges of my fingernails. I saw this and said said why not, I love kitchen gadgets, and this might be good. I was wrong! This is GREAT!! I like to use it with the curved edge down, wearing it on my index finger, so my thumb rests on the ring band. It is important to get your thumb behind the shield because you might not realize it sticks out beyond the edge. I tried it on my middle finger first, and just missed getting my thumb. I know what you are thinking, maybe I shouldn't use knives, haha, but I am good with a knife. But since I started using this I no longer have to worry about my fingers. Yes, I would recommend this to anyone who cooks a lot and likes their fingers.
