Tale Of Peter Rabbit

What a sweet experience to read it with your kid... The fact that it was first published in 1902 and still children's find it amusing... My kid read it in a go and not left it whole day... This is collectable...

It’s no doubt the smallest book in our collection but my little one loves it...he is captivated by peter rabbit from the beginning to the end...and I think a book which is over 100 yrs old is definitely worth a buy!

It has great story, though this particular book doesn't have all the stories of the series. Also book is so small and have very less content.

A classic. Lovely old illustration. Naughty story. A little long for my 2 and a half year old daughter but she likes it nevertheless.

I'm not one to write negative reviews....I am sure this book is a great book, but the condition it arrived in, is not acceptable.Within the book itself the artwork and style is great and certainly an enjoyable read. It's just the condition it arrived in.Amazon kindly refunded me the cost without any drama's.

I bought this for my daughter’s third birthday. I think these books are often bought as a special gift and inevitably end up just living on a shelf, which is a shame. She absolutely loves small books and this one is just the right size for her little hands. I took the dust jacket off as it’s a bit fiddly and likely to just get squashed.The illustrations are absolutely beautiful. The language is definitely of its time but there is no harm in children hearing unfamiliar words and the story is clear. This is a current favourite in our household and she asks for it as a bedtime story every day, enjoying it more and more as it becomes a familiar tale.I don’t think we’ll end up with the whole set but I will definitely buy more of these beautiful and well-known little books.

This is a beautifully produced keepsake hardback edition of Beatrix Potter's children's story about the adventure of Peter Rabbit in Mr McGregor's garden. Highly recommended!

Lovely version of The Tale of Peter Rabbit. I don't like the current trend of modernising Beatrix Potter stories. For me the original will always be the best and as far as I can tell this version is almost exactly as I remember it. I prefer the way the book is formatted for Kindle rather than the way it looks on a tablet. It's purely a personal opinion. It's set out like a real book on a smaller screen and the pages and (gorgeous) illustrations seem better organised in a compacted format. A slice of my childhood and one I'm always happy to revisit.

Amazing book, such a timeless story. Bad packaging by Amazon though as the cover was a bit damaged and had black signs all over it :(
