Team Controls Replacement Universal Synchronous Synchron Motor for Honeywell or Drayton Motorised Valves TC-SYN

Arrived quickly, as I needed. Works perfectly and was a very good price.

It works with an ESi valve, but only just. On the original motor, the spindle is longer than the cog and it sits in a little hole. On this valve, the spindle is flush with the cog and is also a bit tighter when mounted. This means the springs aren’t strong enough to return the valve. I got round this by loosening the mounting screws. It did the job, but it isn’t a perfect fit.The motor is good quality and works, so 5 stars.

I have needed to replace the motorised valve on my central heating system and this product is the same as the original one fitted.Once you are aware that this particular part has failed, it is a fairly straightforward process to replace it. All the parts are included in the box and because it’s Amazon arrived within three days. ALWAYS make sure that the electrical supply is properly turned off before you start!!

A budget item, they work fine, however they get extremely hot, which I find concerning, so I check it regularly, you could fry an egg on the casing , these little motors are designed to get warm, but surely not too the point where you leave a layer of skin behind if you touch the case .

A good replacement with all required crimps and screws supplied. Works ok. Can't comment on longevity.

easy replacement in a Honeywell control valve. And simpler than changing the whole head unit!

It is not a universal fit, I had to file down the two fixing taps as they did not fit into the fixing recess's in the Danfoss HP2A motorised valve base and was preventing the drive gear of the motor meshing with the opener gear, after this was complete and assembled, I test ran the motor several times and it worked. Even with the extra adjustments required to this motor it still works out much cheaper than buying the complete valve assembly.
